Senyo Cudjoe is our primary partner and long time friend. He is the Founder and President of Biblical Discipleship & Growth Ministry. Senyo is also Pastor of Fountain of Life Chapel International.
Senyo was born in Ghana, and has been serving local communities through church planting and community development for nearly 40 years.
He is an expert in reaching non-literate people groups, and has trained ministry leaders around the world.
This morning we had the blessing of attending church in the community of Mafi-Avikope. When we arrived, the church was already alive with joyful praise—singing, dancing, and celebrating the Lord together. It was such a beautiful way to begin the morning.
LeeAnn led the service and shared a message about One Body, Many Parts, reminding us how each of us has a unique role in the body of Christ and how we are all needed. It was an encouraging and meaningful message.
We were also privileged to take communion together and spent time in heartfelt prayer. It was truly a blessed service and such a joy to worship alongside the community there.
We returned to Ho later in the afternoon, grateful for the day. In the evening, Pastor Senyo and his family joined us for dinner, which made for a wonderful time of fellowship and conversation to end the day. 🙏✨
03/07/2026 Day three of the women’s conference. Today concludes this year’s conference.
Day 3 of the women’s conference was such a joyful and meaningful day. We began the morning praising God together in worship, singing and dancing before the Lord with so much joy. Pastor Senyo opened our time with prayer, asking God to continue working in each of our hearts.
Charity began the teaching with a powerful lesson about Deborah and the courage and faith she showed in following God’s calling. Afterward, we broke into small groups to talk about the lesson and share what it meant to each of us. It was special to hear the different thoughts and experiences from the women.
LeeAnn then taught on the Armor of God. This was such a fun and memorable moment because the children helped demonstrate the armor we should put on every day. Each piece was explained as the children wore it. At one point the “evil one” even appeared, but the children were ready—they chased him away because they were fully prepared with the armor of God!
Sue shared a teaching called A Light That Transforms Communities – Serving Christ. We gathered in a circle for a question-and-answer time so everyone could participate. It was a beautiful moment of open conversation, learning from one another, and encouraging each other in how we can serve Christ in our communities.
After lunch we gathered for our closing session. Sue gave a review centered on the incredible love of Christ and what we had learned throughout the conference. There was an invitation given, followed by a prayer of salvation and a closing blessing.
To end our time together, Pastor Lawrence and Irene led us all in prayer and spoke a special blessing over the mission team. It was a powerful and emotional moment as we thanked God for everything He had done during these three days. We left encouraged, grateful, and trusting that God will continue to work in the lives of these women and in their communities. ❤️
Day 2 of the women’s conference began with a beautiful time of worship and praise this morning. It was so special to see the women lifting their voices together and preparing their hearts for what God had for them today. 🙌
LeeAnn shared a powerful teaching about being carnally minded versus spiritually minded. To help bring the message to life, we did a skit where we dressed as Satan and God and asked the women a simple but important question: “Which one are you going to follow?” It was a meaningful and engaging way to help everyone reflect on the choices we make each day.
Gloria then taught about knowing your God-given purpose. Her message encouraged the women to think about how God has uniquely created each of them and the plans He has for their lives. After her session, we gathered all the women together for a group picture of the conference, which was such a joyful moment. 📸
Sue followed with a teaching on prayer. She introduced the acronym A.C.T.S. to help guide prayer using prayer beads—
Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Each woman received a beautiful set of prayer beads, which made the teaching even more meaningful as they now have something tangible to help them remember how to pray.
Later, Charity taught about Miriam, Moses, and Aaron, focusing on boldness and speaking truth. The teaching included a skit showing God delivering the Israelites from Egypt, their worship after being set free, and the importance of standing in truth.
We ended the afternoon with a time of prayer together. It was a powerful and peaceful moment as many of the women brought their hearts before the Lord. It has been such a blessing to witness what God is doing in the lives of these women. ✨

Today was such a beautiful and encouraging day at the women’s conference. We were blessed to have 49 women attend from several different communities:
Vume-Kpoviadzi – 5
Adidome – 2
Mafi-Kpordiwlor – 4
Mafi-Kumase – 7
Mafi-Avikope – 4
Mafi-Azanukope – 5
Adaklu-Tsrfe – 4
Adaklu-Hasu – 3
Titrinu – 2
Ho – 13
It was such a joy to see women arriving from all these places. Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and worshiping together was truly a blessing.
We began the morning with praise, worship, and introductions, setting the tone for a wonderful day together. Our mission team had the privilege of presenting each woman with a Bible and a Bible marker that includes verses they can turn to during times of crisis or need. It was a special moment watching them receive God’s Word.
Our theme for the conference is “Walking with Jesus,” based on Lamentations 3:22–26, reminding us of God’s faithfulness and mercy each day.
Several women from the team shared powerful teachings:
Sue spoke about our identity in Christ, reminding us who we are because of Him.
Vivian taught about our daily walk with Jesus and how we stay close to Him.
Charity shared the story of Rachel and Leah, using a creative and fun sketch that everyone enjoyed.
Leeann taught about Naomi, helping us see God’s faithfulness even through difficult seasons.
Later, we divided into five small groups of about ten women each. During this time, everyone discussed what they had learned and how they could apply it to their personal walk with Jesus. The conversations were lively, and the women participated with so much enthusiasm and openness.
It was truly a wonderful day of growing together, encouraging one another, and building our faith. We are so thankful for each woman who came and for the opportunity to walk this journey with them. đź’›

We learned that today was market day in downtown Ho. The streets were full of people and vendors with made this afternoon’s ride back to our hotel a very interesting experience.
We are going through a lot of drinking water as it’s very hot and humid. Here these 3 beautiful ladies are delivering us more water making sure we have plenty. Please keep us in your prayers as the extreme change in climate can affect us during your long days.
Today is registration day for the women’s conference here in Ho, and our hearts are full of anticipation. Women from Ho and the surrounding rural communities have been arriving throughout the day, some traveling long distances just to be here. Watching them come in—smiling, greeting one another, and eagerly registering—has already been such a blessing. Each one receives a name tag lanyard and an information packet, but more than that, they are being welcomed into a time we believe God has lovingly prepared for them.
This morning was especially meaningful for us. We sat together and handwrote personal scripture passages in 70 Bibles—one for each woman attending this year’s conference. As we wrote, we prayed over every name and every page, asking the Lord to speak personally and powerfully through His Word. It was a quiet, sacred time that reminded us why we are here.
Senyo gathered us and shared a short message, encouraging our hearts and leading us in prayer as we prepare for tomorrow’s first session. There was such a sweet sense of unity and expectation as we committed everything to the Lord.
Tonight, we returned to the hotel, shared dinner together, and are now resting in the peaceful atmosphere—reflecting on the day and looking ahead with hope. Tomorrow we begin teaching and sharing God’s Word, and we are trusting Him to move in ways far beyond what we can imagine.
signing each Bible!
Waving Hello from Ghana.
Relaxing atmosphere after dinner.
Your prayers are deeply appreciated and important to us. We will need them in the coming days as we seek the Lord’s guidance in teaching, supporting and counseling women of a different culture. As women no matter where we’re from, we face many of the same challenges. May we be an inspiration through and in Christ that will draw them closer to him.
We had the incredible opportunity to journey to Mount Gemi, and it was truly a special experience for us. Standing there, taking in the beauty of the mountain and knowing the history behind it, made it even more meaningful. Years ago, German missionaries came to this region, built their homes here, and poured their lives into sharing their faith. You can still feel the legacy they left behind.
The cross they placed high on the mountain is such a powerful symbol. People travel from all over the world to climb Mount Gemi early in the morning or in the quiet of the evening just to pray there. As we looked up at that cross, we were reminded of God’s faithfulness through generations. It’s humbling to think about the prayers that have been lifted from that very spot.
The town of Ameazofe holds so much of that history. The Germans planted many Presbyterian churches in the area, and their foundation of faith continues to impact the community today. Seeing how that seed has grown over the years is truly inspiring.
Now our hearts are full of anticipation as we prepare for the women’s conference. The women will begin arriving Wednesday morning, and we are so excited to welcome each one of them. We are praying expectantly, believing that God is going to move in beautiful and powerful ways. We are looking forward not just to their arrival, but to seeing God at work in every conversation, every prayer, and every gathering.
We are grateful to be part of what He is doing here.

For those who don’t know, this is our partner Senyo Cudjoe and his wife Augustine. They were gracious enough to take us sightseeing today as tomorrow Wednesday the women will begin arriving in the morning and we will start our teaching in the afternoon.
Today we began our journey to visit the Mafi-Kumase community market. This is the market where the women shop each week for supplies to provide for their families. The families work diligently in their fields, growing crops to sell at the market.
There was an abundance of cassava, beans, rice, and palm oil, along with fresh fruit, coconuts, dried fish, and even charcoal used for cooking. We learned so much about the local culture and everything involved in preparing and setting up the market, as well as the experience of the women who shop there. It’s quite different from our grocery stores!
We had a wonderful time. Each of us had our own interpreter who explained the different food items to us. Augustine, Pastor Senyo’s wife prepared a lovely picnic lunch for us, which made the day even more special.

We are now safely back at our hotel and have had a wonderful dinner. Today it’s been very hot and humid with a short rain shower this evening. We are looking forward to a good nights rest and a busy day tomorrow. Stay tuned and check back as we share more of our trip. Remember us in your prayers!
03/01/2026 We are so thankful for all your Prayers. Our flights were trouble free and on time. We were greeted on arrival by our partner Senyo with great joy. After picking up are luggage and loading it into the van we started the 3 hour drive to Ho and our hotel. After getting settled in and getting a very short nap it was time for dinner. While waiting for our food we were able to find someone to take our picture on the patio overlooking the city of Ho in the background. Team leader Sue then took us on a tour of the hotel grounds before we returned to our rooms as we looked forward to a goodnight’s rest. Tomorrow we will travel to Mafi Kumase and walk through the local market. Then it’s off to shop for material to be used by a seamstress who will make each of us a dress. We are truly blessed to be here and look with excitement to witness what the Lord has in store in the days to come.
02/28/2026. This morning at 6AM this small team of women departed Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix Arizona on their first leg of the flight to Accra Ghana Africa. 2026 has opened the door for the following team members to travel to Ghana and take part in teaching at this year’s women’s conference. They will be spending 12 days in country both taking part in the conference and visiting communities in the rural areas.
left to right is Sue, Charity, and LeeAnn. These 3 women have spent the last few months raising funds, applying for passports, visas and updating their shots to allow them to make this journey. Their work continues as they seek God’s will in what lessons to prepare for in teaching and sharing with the women who will be taking part in this conference. As of today, 65 women from different rural communities have signed up. We ask that you keep our team members and all who take part in this conference in your prayers.
