“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1
The name Elijah means “God is Jehovah”; he is considered one of the greatest of the Prophets; he is brought on the scene by the Holy Spirit without fanfare, and even without introduction.
The idolatrous priests no doubt claimed for Baal dominion over nature and absolute control over the clouds and rain; however, Elijah would portray the fact that it was Jehovah Who ordered the elements and not Baal. The impotency of Baal to remove the ban would prove the impotency of their god and their claim.
God sent Elijah to stand before the evil Israelite king, Ahab. At God’s prompting, Elijah boldly declared that no rain or dew would fall in the land of Israel until he said the word.
He threw down the gauntlet to a nation that served Baal, a god who purportedly brought down the rain and made the crops grow. Elijah challenged Baal and demonstrated the power of the one true God. Three and a half years later, drought had devastated Israel.
Elijah stood on God’s Word. He did what God asked him to do, and he made it count. No matter how difficult the task that God has given you, make it count. No matter how many or how few stand with you, make it count.
If He sends you into political office, speak the declarative words of truth. He may send you to the Parent Teacher Association, your workplace or the community center. He may ask you to usher or sing in the choir. Whatever you do, make it count!
Elijah stood in a generation where no one else was willing to speak the truth. When he did, a nation fell to its knees. Be willing TO GO. Be willing TO STAND. Be willing TO SPEAK. Beloved, MAKE IT COUNT!
LET’S PRAY.
This morning, may receive a touch from above to deliver the Message of the Cross without fear and anxiety.
May you go forth in the boldness of the Lord to declare His word, to shine His light, and to share His love in Jesus glorious name. May His presence speak and answer for you breathing miracles into every soul you encounter with the message of the Gospel of Christ. Amen Amen Amen! Fountain to your life.

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:31 – 34
Jesus summoned us to lay hold of the eternal, to pour our lives into things that carry everlasting weight and will endure forever.
We choose how to live today. Distractions and detractors may attempt to pull us off course. Obligations and appointments crowd our calendars. Good things can deter us from the “God things” – the plans that He has purposed for us.
With the power of the Holy Spirit, we can make choices that redirect us to Him, that guide us into truth. Let’s pour our lives into the divine purposes of God and our relationship with Him, into being about our Father’s business.
Let’s discipline ourselves to not just read His Word – “but obey it.”Let’s quiet ourselves “to pray.” Let’s practice the presence of God and living in the fullness of joy.
Today’s Text actually means that even one anxious thought is forbidden. Such shows a distrust of the Lord. Gentiles had no part in God’s Covenant with Israel; consequently, they had no part in God’s Economy, and, basically, had to fend for themselves. If we live for Him, ever seeking His Will, we have the guarantee of His Word, which He will provide for us. Is God’s Word good enough? I think it is.
We should handle daily difficulties in Faith, and have Faith for the future that the present difficulties will not grow into larger ones. We have God’s assurance that they won’t, that is, if we will sufficiently believe Him.
So, dearly beloved, Determine to seek His kingdom and His purposes first and foremost. When we do, He will provide for every other need. Choose to throw off every hindrance that keeps you from the righteousness of God. Set your heart on Him alone!
LET’S PRAY.
As cool as the morning is, so shall your life be cool and free from all calamities. May this day bring forth blessing, comfort, goodness and breakthrough to you personally. The grace of Almighty God will move in your favour and that of your family to make you shine as stars. The light of God will expose every hidden work of darkness in your life and destroy them in Jesus mighty name. Amen Amen Amen! Fountain!
“Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood–I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people. For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. Therefore I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood.” “`Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth, because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, “You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.” Leviticus 17:10 – 14
God instituted animal sacrifice to make atonement for the sinful souls of humanity in the Old Testament, but a river of blood from bulls, rams, goats, and turtledoves could not save us.
Christ alone redeemed us from the curse of the Law through the shedding of His blood (Galatians 3:13)! Only His blood could atone for us. We are not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold or the dead-end traditions of the past. No! We were bought with the priceless blood of the perfect Lamb (I Peter 1:18-19). The Innocent died so the guilty could go free!
In our physical bodies, bones, muscles, organs, tendons, and nerves are set in place. The blood, though, is ever moving. It circulates through the body about every 20 seconds carrying oxygen, nutrients, and cleansing power. Life is in our blood. When a nurse touches our wrists, she is looking for the pulse created by moving blood. No pulse indicates death.
The Death of Christ on the Cross, which was brought about by the shedding of His Precious Blood, which means that in the shedding of His Blood, His Life poured out, is not only the means of Salvation, but in fact, is the only means of Salvation.
In the body of Christ, His blood circulates to give us life, to connect and empower us individually and corporately. Without His blood, we can expect deprivation and death. True life is found only in the blood of Jesus.
When man duly takes his place as one possessing no title whatsoever to life – when he fully recognizes God’s claim upon him, then the Divine record is, ‘l have given you the life to make an Atonement for your soul.’ Yes, Atonement is God’s gift to man; and be it carefully noted that this Atonement is in the Blood and only in the Blood, and we speak of the Blood of Christ. It is not the Blood and something else. The Word is most explicit. It attributes Atonement exclusively to the Blood.
LET’S PRAY.
This morning get this revelation, “There is a Fountain filled with Blood, drawn from Immanuel’s vain. And sinner plunge beneath the Blood, loose all the guilty stain. May this be your portion in the name of Jesus Christ. May you be filled with joy unspeakable knowing that His crimson blood washed away your blackest sin to make you white as snow. May you live in the power of that life-giving flood in Jesus’ glorious name! Amen Amen Amen! Fountain to your life.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 – 19
When Jesus hung on Calvary’s tree, He defeated sin once and for all (Romans 6:10). He broke its power over all humankind. We no longer live in slavery to its demands, at its beck and call. His death and resurrection make us free indeed!
Today’s verse means, Spiritual things cannot be discerned by unredeemed people, but that doesn’t matter; the Cross must be preached just the same. The Cross is the Power of God simply because it was there that the total sin debt was paid, giving the Holy Spirit, in Whom the Power resides, latitude to work mightily within our lives.
When we responded to the clarion call of Calvary and accepted Jesus’ invitation, His blood washed away our sins to reconcile us to the Father. As we take up our cross to follow Him daily, He perfects and matures – sanctifies – us (Luke 9:23).
For those who are being saved, Jesus keeps calling us back to the Cross. Here lies the power of God! Bring your discouragement, your broken heart, your shattered dream, your rebellious children, and your messed-up marriage. Lay it down. Here – more than any other place – we know that what seems dead and broken beyond repair can be raised and made brand new!
Jesus still calls today. What do you need to lay down at the foot of the Cross? Come, cast all your cares on Him, because He loves you so (I Peter 5:7). Find power in the triumphant tree of Calvary. Lay every burden at the foot of the Cross to rise up in victory. He has set you free indeed!
LET’S PRAY.
This morning I declare into your life, your joy will be full and overflow and you will fulfil your destiny in Jesus mighty name! You will sing for joy for evermore! Fear not, what you have lost shall be restored in 7 folds….and what is precious to you will never be lost in Jesus mighty name! Destiny wasters shall not locate your destiny in Jesus name. God shall keep you from all evil and the purpose of God in your life must come to pass in the name of Jesus. Your enemies shall live to see your promotion and celebration in Jesus’ glorious name. Amen Amen Amen! Fountain to your life.
GOD IS STILL LEADING US IN TRIUMPH.
But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this? 2 Corinthians 2:14-16
If Satan had fully realized what nailing Jesus to the cross would do, he would have turned the world upside down to prevent His death. Only a Sovereign God could take a tool of torture and turn it into a tree of triumph!
When Satan watched the religious leaders arrest Jesus, he must have thought, “Finally! We have him right where we want Him!” When the accusations were leveled against Him, the father of Lies must have laughed with glee.
When the soldiers pounded the nails and dropped the Cross into the dirt, he surely rubbed his hands excitedly. As he heard Jesus breathe his last, he thought the end was in sight, that his victory was certain, that he would have the supremacy he coveted.
“It is finished.” Those words of Jesus were not a pitiful admission of defeat, they were a roar of triumph! The cross was the pinnacle of a plan that God laid with the foundations of the world. His only Son would become salvation to all those who choose to believe.
What Satan intended for evil, destruction, and death, God redeemed for good, abundance, and life. God is still leading us in triumph – will always lead us in triumph – in Christ!
LET’S PRAY.
May you be a sweet-smelling fragrance to all the world as you share the Good News of this tree of triumph! All glory be to God! Your waking up this morning shall begin with a great miracles in Jesus mighty name. May your lamp of glory burn brighter, your ocean of joy flow ceaselessly, your rainbow appear more colourful and consistently.
You will triumph over all challenges and troubles; you will become unstoppable as the Almighty God will release an excellent spirit upon you to succeed in all your endeavours in Jesus mighty name. You will not dispense labour in the garden of your enemies, your beautiful gate shall not be an open field to your adversaries in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen! Fountain to your life.
“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me’ Luke 11:23
The Cross of Christ demands a decision. Neutrality does not lead to triumph. To not deliberately choose is to make the choice.
When the Pharisees leveled their accusations at Jesus, He spelled it out very simply. There is no neutral ground. If we are not on His side, we are His enemy. If we are not helping do His work, we are actually harming His cause.
Many come to the Cross as a source of salvation. They embrace the convenience of redemption but reject the commitment that comes with it. They view their relationship with Jesus as a complementary aside – not the one priority of primary and utmost importance.
True commitment is not convenient. When our comfort is challenged, and we still choose the way of the Cross, it is in that place that our commitment is demonstrated. If anyone wants to follow Jesus, he must lay down his own life and ambitions – not convenient. That person must take up his cross and sacrifice his personal desires – not convenient. He must follow Jesus and choose His plan – that is commitment.
If we are committed to the Cross, we are committed to the Saviour Who died on that tree. We are committed to follow His Word that commissions us to do the work of our Father. There is no neutral ground.
LET’S PRAY.
As you lay down your life and commit to follow Him, may He strengthen you for every good work. Beloved! If you really looked at your past, you will find that you have faced other moments more severe than the one you’re facing right now — and God never failed you or let you down. In fact, He delivered you and turned those situations around! Don’t ever forget what God has already done for you. Let those memories stir you up and encourage you to face your present dilemma with faith. God will fight your hidden battles and grant you victory in every areas of your life.
He will stand by you and restore you in Jesus Mighty name. God shall empower you to overcome every challenges in your life in Jesus name, Amen Amen Amen! Fountain to your life.
YOU WILL SURELY RECOVER EVERYTHING.
Then David asked the Lord, “Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?”And the Lord told him, “Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!”
1 Samuel 30:8
When our hearts are shattered by circumstances beyond our control, we have blessed hope through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
David helps us navigate the business of brokenness and the road to restoration. After David took time for tears, strengthened himself in the Lord, and inquired for God’s will in his particular situation, he had one more thing to do.
Today’s verse is telling us, when it says that the Lord answered David, that is one of the most beautiful statement that could ever be made. Spiritual victory must be ours before material, financial, or physical victory can come. David now proceeds with assurance that the Lord is with him and, that being the case, he will “recover all.” It is the Will of the Lord that you recover all that Satan has stolen from you.
When he asked the Lord if he should chase down the enemy, God responded that David and his men should pursue them. Not only would they overtake the enemy, but they would, without fail, recover everything that had been stolen from them!
David had to act on the instruction of the Lord. That word was good for nothing unless David was willing to move out in faith to pursue, overtake, and recover all. There is a moment when we wait quietly, in faith, to receive the strength of the Lord. But there is another moment where we hang back disobediently, in fear, because we are too afraid to fight.
Perhaps, the broken pieces of our hearts are still shattered and scattered because we have not taken the action that God is prompting. We must take an active role in our healing. Faith without action is dead. David pursued, overtook, recovered all, and returned rejoicing. God’s Word had already decided the outcome.
LET’S PRAY.
This morning l pray that you shall surely recover all and everything the enemy has stolen from you in double portion in Jesus’ glorious name. The grace of God will constantly remind you to keep your focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, the Captain of our boat, the Author and Finisher of our faith for sound health, strength and protection until the destruction is over. I pray you will observe all precautionary measures required of us even as the Lord hides and keep you under the shadow of His protective wings in the name of Jesus Christ. By Authority of Scripture, the Power of the Blood of Jesus and the Fire of the Holy Ghost, l decree and declare you shall recover all and every oppotunities the enemy has stolen in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I decree and declare from today, you will have dreams again, see visions again and hear His voice again to accomplish all He has created for, to the glory of His name in Jesus mighty name. Amen, Amen and Amen! Fountain to your life.
He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:12 – 14
*A scarlet stream flows through Scripture.* It begins at the gates of Genesis and courses through to the end of Revelation.
The stream was set in motion when Adam and Eve sinned at the beginning, and *God shed the blood of innocent animals to provide covering for them* (Genesis 3:21). Later, *God accepted Abel’s blood sacrifice,* but Cain’s offering was rejected (Genesis 4:5).
Six centuries passed, and the stream resurfaced when *Noah’s first act following the flood was to worship God with the offering of sacrificial animals* (Genesis 8:20). Years later, God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son. Even as Abraham lifted the knife, *God spared Isaac and provided a ram for the altar instead.*
Four centuries passed, and the stream rolled on in the story of Moses. On the night that the Israelites escaped Egypt, *the blood over the doorpost of their homes spared their firstborn sons.*
To usher in the new covenant, *Jesus shed His blood once and for all.* Destined to die from the foundations of the world, He became the scapegoat for our sin, *the ultimate and final sacrifice.*
Today, *we remember that crimson, cleansing tide every time we participate in communion.* This, we will do until He comes again. *Only then will the scarlet stream reach its final destination.*
LET’S PRAY.
This morning and beyond God will raise you up for the purpose of showing His Power and Might. He will fulfil His purposes and agenda in you, and through you. You are anointed with God’s Favour. He will make you and all yours the candidates of His in-explainable grace. The voice of Favour shall silence all other voices that speak contradictions against you in Jesus name.
The blood of Jesus is our provision, power, protection, and Passover. May you abide under its scarlet stream. Amen Amen Amen! Fountain to your life.
“And now what do I have here?” declares the LORD. “For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock, ” declares the LORD. “And all day long my name is constantly blasphemed. Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.” How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:5 – 7
The Gospel message – the Good News about Jesus Christ – is the truth that we possess! *We carry around this unspeakably precious treasure in our jars-of-clay bodies* (II Corinthians 4:7).
Naaman, the leper, was desperate for a cure. One small voice of hope spoke into his despair. *A captive slave girl shared a message that changed his world* (II Kings 5:3). *She walked in and out of one verse unnamed, but the truth she possessed delivered Naaman from certain death.*
Why do we shrink from sharing the truth that we possess? We cringe at the thought of rejection. *We worry that we can’t quote chapter and verse.* We think someone stronger and smarter will be better for the job. *But the treasure inside speaks otherwise.*
We mingle with people every day who are desperate for a cure for the sin that has ravaged their lives. They strain for a glimmer of hope. *They seek a truth that will change their world and deliver them from certain death.*
Open up the treasure box! *Bring the good news! Proclaim peace!* Bring glad testimony of the good things that God has done for you! Proclaim His salvation! *The truth that you possess is the truth that changes the world!*
LET’S PRAY.
May the Holy Spirit endue you with power to be His witness to all the world, to proclaim that our God reigns! This morning, may God’s hand be upon you and your family. I pray God shall pursue your enemies far away from you, any calamity or accidents prepare against you shall not work, their plan for evil, shall back fire in Jesus mighty name.
May God send HIS Angels to guide and lead you to your blessing and breakthrough in Jesus mighty name. Anyone behind your suffering, shall withdraw by fire and confess to you by force in Jesus name. Today God shall favor you and your family in Jesus name. Fountain.
The Lord Almighty will lash them with a whip, as when he struck down Midian at the rock of Oreb; and he will raise his staff over the waters, as he did in Egypt. In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat. Isaiah 10:26-27
A “yoke” is a wooden bar that is lashed to the neck of an animal that enables it to bear heavy burdens and pull large loads. The farmer binds the yoke to the animal’s neck, so it cannot shake it off. *Yokes often signify slavery and oppression.*
In today’s verse, the prophet, Isaiah, brought good news to King Hezekiah. The Assyrian king had captured Judah’s cities, demanded exorbitant tributes, and mocked the God they served. *But God promised that He would lift the burden and break the yoke! “by reason of the appearing of the Anointed One,” Christ*
And why would God deliver Judah? Was it for His great love? Because Hezekiah was such a deserving king? Because Judah had done all the right things in the right ways? *No, “by reason of the appearing of the Anointed One,” Christ, gave their freedom!*
*As His children, we are His anointed.* Whatever yoke Satan has bound to your neck to lead you astray and bow you under its weight, God will lift it from your shoulders.
He will not just remove it – He will destroy it! *You will no longer have to carry that burden.* It will no longer be a source of struggle that will affect you or your children. *The anointing breaks the yoke to set you free!*
LET’S PRAY.
May the anointing of God lift every burden and break every yoke in your life to bring total freedom and joy!
Grace speaks, Grace elevates, Grace distinguishes, Grace repositions, Grace makes great, Grace never suffers disgrace, Grace paves way, Grace gives strength. When there is a casting down, God’s Grace brings unbelievable lifting. You will enjoy the Abundance of God’s Grace in Jesus precious name. By the grace of God, those things that trouble you, powers, personalities you will not see them anymore in the mighty name of Jesus. Peace shall be with you today and forevermore “by reason of the appearing of the Anointed One,” Christ. Amen Amen Amen! Fountain!
