Travel with a ministry team

International travel to Ghana has been temporarily made more difficult due to a worldwide pandemic. We are considering the possibility of sending a small team as early as 2022, but we are remaining flexible and sensitive to the leading of God.

Clean Water Projects

Clean water and sanitation are basic human rights, and it is important to us to help the rural towns in Ghana to reach their own goals in gaining access to these essential resources.

Often the funding for a project will come before we begin, and there are always ongoing needs for clean water around the area we work in many forms. We are familiar with rain water collection tanks, filtration systems, and borehole drilling for pump well systems.

We are not currently funding or beginning a water project, but we will include any updates on future projects here.

Grassroots Church Planting

This is an example of a church being started in a rural area. it begins with showing the Jesus movie, a gospel presentation and offering an invitation to respond to the message. This forms the core group for the first church service, and a Zone Field Leader is assigned (who will oversee a grouping of churches in close proximity). The event will last 4 days and includes Bibles, benches, drums, fuel and audio/visual equipment (A one-time cost of approx. $500 US dollars). We plan on seeing 14 churches started in 2022, and our goal is also to provide $75 US dollars per month of support for each of the 5 Zone Field Leaders.

Fountain of Life Chapel International

Fountain of Life Chapel International in Ho, Ghana, Africa is the launching church for new churches being started in the rural areas of the Volta Region in Ghana. For years the congregation met at Senyo’s home, but has outgrew the outdoor area, and acquired land in the area. Construction of the children’s building has been completed, where the adults are currently gathering until the completion of the main gathering building.

You can make a more long-term relationship with us as a partner who will come alongside the team and the ministry in Ghana.

There are many opportunities to get your congregation or organization involved from focusing your efforts on meeting the needs of an entire village town, asking individuals to sponsor children, or giving towards the efforts of one the projects.

Move City Church

Founders of Move Africa, MCC started working with Senyo in 2008. MCC (started as a multi-site campus of Pantano Christian Church) began partnering with Senyo through the since obsolete “adopt-a-village” program of Heartbeat for Africa. The MCC congregation provided sponsorship for children in two village towns, clean drinking water (wells, filters & collection tanks), Bibles, church resources, glasses, sanitation, and maintained individual donations from outside the church.
